Question to Brigitte: How do I best organize my cable tangle?
05/09/07
Today we had the new BRIGITTE (Edition 11/2007) in our letter-box. One article struck our eye immediately: On page 137 BRIGITTE reader Renate Mack from Iserlohn asks:
“How do I best organize my cable tangle?”
My desk is dominated by a sheer cable chaos. The power supplies of mobile phones, digital cameras or MP3 players are all over the place. How can I get rid of this mess?”
Answer from BRIGITTE reader’s advice:
“For a tidy workspace I can recommend e.g. the SL12 Charge-Box from house warming objects by Konstantin Slawinski & Co. GmbH.
The sleek designed box makes all cables disappear in a solid powder coated steel case, the devices are bedded on a protective felt mat. Dimensions: 31,5 x 21 x 11,5 cm, 79 Euro …”
By the way, the SL12 Charge-Box is does not only come with red mat, but just recently it is also available with a grey felt mat. We have suggested to Konstantin Slawinski that they offer even more different coloured felt mats, e.g. in the current Apple iPod nano (C) colour code. The motto “Pimp your SL12″ would be something we’d be excited about! …
For a lower budget we can highly recommend two fantastic alternatives, which are suitable for looking after one or the other precious device: Load-ding und driinn.
