Finest British Watering Cans against the Drouth
05/05/07
For weeks now we have been enjoying the early summer weather but … throwing a glance at the nature shows us the shady side. Whilst we can indulge in refreshing drinks we are surronded by the soaring drouth. Flowers in our gardens drop their heads and the early tree blossoms are hardly developing into fruit. The vegetable growers are rubbing their hands with joy as the prices for the vitamine bombs are rising steadily. Not that their crop could suffer, the far sighted professionals have been watering diligently.
While we are taking about “watering cans”: We could hardly belive our eyes when we discovered a jewel in the British Midlands:
In a suburb of Birmingham HAWS Watering Cans have been handcrafting the finest watering cans in the world since 1886. Among experts HAWS is the brand par excellence and surely many of the clever gardeners are caring for their crop using one of theirs.
There are some things you just have to own. A Haws watering can is one of them. The small but nice manufacturer acts on his maxim “function is the best designer”. Like all great ideas John Haws let function dictate form, and the Haws professional watering can set a standard that remains unchallenged even today.
This quality leads to a relatively high price but on closer inspection one will realise that it is well worth the money. Even Asians have realised that fact and so is it that HAWS industriously supplies the Asian market, that has resignated even trying to copy these “once in a lifetime cans”.
Our video shows the HAWS team which Fair-kaeuflich.DE recently visited at its imperturbable work.
Have fun in the English garden!
